Encouraging women and girls to take to the skies. Working with schools and aviation organisations our aim is to inspire women and girls to learn to fly and to enthuse them about aviation.
Come and fly with us!
The Aviatrix Project has joined forces with the BWPA and a number of aviation and STEM organisationsto help inspire and encourage women and girls to take to the skies. One of the main aims of this project is to raise aspirations of young girls and to promote aviation as an exciting and accessible career choice. The project aims are to work closely with primary and secondary schools as well as higher education institutions to encourage girls into STEM and enthuse them into aviation.
The BWPA (British Women Pilots' Association) aims to support women in aviation and to encourage participation in aviation by women. One of the aims is to promote general aviation to women and girls who live in the UK and those who are not already engaged in aviation. Encouraging existing female pilots to join and help spread the word is another aim. This makes us ideal partners to work together to enthuse women and girls.
