The Aviatrix Project visits Cornwall!

A wonderful aviation day inspiring even more future pilots in the glorious sunshine yesterday. The day started off at Bodmin Airfield with talks from commercial and private pilots and a tour of the hangars with aspiring female Year 11 scientists. The afternoon was an excellent session with Year 10 students learning about life in the day of a commercial pilot, the history of aviation and CRM - with just a pack of cards!

All our thanks to the staff and instructors at Bodmin Airfield, the staff at Bodmin College who helped organise the day, the volunteer commercial pilots and aviation professionals who spoke and delivered workshops and most importantly all the students who were an absolute joy to work with! Special thanks to Skybus pilot Anne Smeulders, Michael Benson from Gasco, Richard Man and Seren Essex from Bodmin College, Michelle and the staff at Bodmin Airfield and CTC Aviation for providing lots of lovely things for the students to take away.

An absolute privilege to be a part of inspiring the next generation of aviators!
